The Michael Vick dogs are being sold as a line of boutique red wines known as The Vicktory Dogs Wine Collection. This collection features 22 of the dogs rescued by Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in southern Utah.
Matt Hahn, co-owner of Carivintas Winery in Southern California, is the provider of The Vicktory Dogs Wine Collection. The idea behind this collection is to show the dogs in a more positive light.
What makes this collection of wine so special is that each bottle has a portrait of one of the dogs on the front label and rather than using a description of the wine, a short bio about the dog is used.
The entire collection includes 22 bottles and 2 others in honor of Best Friends’ 25th Anniversary and costs $672. You also have the options of purchasing half of the collection for $380 and individual bottles for $40 each. Ten percent of sales will be donated to Best Friend.
