If you’re one who prefers to bring their dog on vacations, rather than leaving it at the dog kennel, or would like find a place you can go vacationing with your dog, then don’t worry, there are pet friendly places to travel to, that will be enjoyable for both you and your dog!
Here are a few pet friendly vacation ideas:
1. Las Vegas
You can walk down the Las Vegas Boulevard (A.K.A. The Strip) with your leashed dog, while you take in the view of what the city has to offer
Off the Las Vegas Strip is the Red Rock Canyon, where you can walk your leashed dog on one of the 19 hiking trails
While touring the area with your dog, make sure you both have lots of water to stay hydrated in this hot desert
2. Boston
There are many paths for you and your dog to walk and explore such as the Freedom Trail, the 2.5 mile redlined sidewalks where you can view Paul Revere’s House, Old North Church, The State House, and Faneuil Hall (A.K.A. Quincy Market)
You can also visit Boston’s South End to stop in the Polka Dog Bakery, where you can get your dog a doggy treat!
3. Key West, FL
You and your dog can go to what’s called the “Dog Beach”, where your dog will be able to hang out with the many other dogs at the beach, chase the birds and other wildlife, run in the sand, go swimming, and much more!
So there are options for you to travel with your dog, especially if you don’t want to leave it at the dog kennel this time.
