Nail trimming is something that dogs and owners don’t really enjoy. Many dogs don’t like when their paws are touched and know how it can hurt if their nails are trimmed too short.
Dog owners will usually avoid trimming their dog’s nails, because of the difficulties that may occur, but a veterinary technician, vet, or groomer can show you how to trim your dog’s nails.
It’s recommended that dogs have their nails trimmed once a month, but some may need it more or less frequently.
