For those of you who are BlackBerry owners and want to learn how to delete a BlackBerry application, you have come to the right spot. After going to the menu option and then selecting to delete a BlackBerry application, the BlackBerry says the application has been deleted, but the icon is still showing. This article is to help those who own a BlackBerry and are interested in learning how to permanently delete a BlackBerry application and application icon from the device without wiping out or deleting all of your BlackBerry data.
Steps To Permanently Delete a BlackBerry Application and Icon:
- Scroll over the BlackBerry application that you want to remove and click delete in the menu
- Go to your Settings folder and open up the Options application
- Then go to Advanced Options
- Then click on Service Book
- The Service Book will give you a list of BlackBerry applications. Highlight the appliction you want remove, then in the menu click delete
- Finally, restart your BlackBerry and the application and icon should be permanently removed
