The Pet Loo was designed with the understanding of animal behavior. When your dog is ready to go to the bathroom, he / she will most likely circle around a few times before going. Therefore, The Pet Loo has been designed to provide enough space to allow your dog to conduct business comfortably.

What happens if it’s poop?

You would do the same as if you were walking your dog – pick it up and dispose of it in the toilet.

How does it get cleaned?

On a daily basis, pour warm water on the synthetic grass to rinse excess urine.

Once a week, it’s recommended to remove the synthetic grass made, to rinse it thoroughly in the tub or outside. Also, after the mat is removed, use hot water to sponge down the base.

Do I need to purchase more synthetic grass?

Purchasing additional grass is optional. You may want to purchase additional grass so that you have a replacement mat to use while the other is being cleaned.

Does it smell?

If kept clean and the recommended cleaning process is consistently followed, The Pet Loo will not smell as it has been designed to expel the maximum amount of urine and base to not absorb any liquid.

How do I empty the bucket?

Simply use the handle to pull the bucket out and dispose the waste in the toilet.

Does my dog still need to exercise?

THE PET LOO COMPONENTSThe Pet Loo

The Pet Loo is really a backyard in a box! There’s enou gh room for your dog to go to the potty comfortably yet small enough for your living arrangements.

It is made from a specifically sourced materials that’s resistant to the acidity of urine and the accompanying odor; therefore ensuring a long-lasting and hygienic product. It has been tested to hold up to about 650 lbs so that it may support larger and heavier pets or even multiple pet usage. The shape of The Pet Loo also permits two to be pushed together to create a larger space for your dog to go.

SYNTHETIC GRASS

Synthetic GrassSeveral tests have been conducted to ensure the perforations in the synthetic grass mat guarantees maximum drainage. Grass replacement is only needed if you feel it’s necessary. To clean The Pet Loo, pour warm water over the grass daily or you can lift the grass out and hose it down outside or in the bathtub (if necessary), and allow it to dry. When The Pet Loo is not being used, such as at night, remove the grass from the base to air dry.

* TIP: It’s recommended to have replacement grass on hand, so that when you’re in the process of having one be cleaned and air dried, the other can be used in the meantime.

THE BASE

Below the synthetic grass mat is a base that is The Pet Loo Base
slightly angled, creating gravity which allows the
urine to be caught in a bucket that is smaller than the unit. It has been designed to support the weight of even larger animals and is shaped to push the urine towards the center of the bucket that’s beneath. It’s important to become aware that the use of cleaning products on the base may repel your animal and compromise the use of The Pet Loo.

CATCH BUCKET

The bucket located beneath the base is able to hold The Pet Loo Catchbucket
up to 1.75 liters of liquid. It is positioned in a specific location beneath the base to ensure the urine is filtered properly. It is made of material that’s resistant to the urine’s acidity and odor. The size and shape of the bucket allows for easy removal and disposal of the waste into the toilet without
the concern for spillage.
